Selection Criteria?
Some positions,
in particular with government organisations, require applicants to
respond to a selection criteria. The advertisement for these
jobs will refer the candidate to obtain an application kit or
position description from the web site or by contacting the
nominated recruitment officer.
Responding to
Selection Criteria can be time consuming. Research has
suggested that candidates on average should spend 22 hours
preparing their selection criteria responses. Given that most
candidates are already working on a full time basis this can be a
stressful process which may not even result in an
interview.
